the third person

In the world of Indian webloggers, a strange force has taken over the minds of many. This epidemic has been documented by Nilesh in the comments of Sonal's weblog as The Third Person Thing - or TTPT, for short. TTPT was first sighted at Satyen Kale's weblog, in a weblog entry about the Princeton snowstorm, and has been analyzed to be highly infectious.

Noted Internet Psychology researcher Arnab Nandi would like to clarify to all webloggers that TTPT should not be confused with the similar sounding TpT, an extremely dangerous mental syndrome that has had far too many casualties so far. Though he has not analyzed TTPT completely, he believes it is highly contagious, and spreads through the comment boxes of weblogs. Arnab would like to reassure his readers that there is no need for concern or panic, and he hopes this phenomenon will die out on its own soon.
