Slashdot, as far as I know, is supposed to be the home of all the anti-commercial, anti-suit, anti-spam zealots. I noticed that the site isn't exactly practising what it preaches:

The "related links" box here lists sponsored links, and are context sensitive; listed along with the links from the articles. If the readers of Slashdot are so adept at spitting venom on spam, spyware and deceptive advertising placement, how about emailing Rob Malda asking him to put those links in a separate "Sponsored Links" box?
